The U.S. Senate is currently considering a budget reconciliation bill that quietly includes language that could devastate our public lands. It would:
- Make over 250 million acres of public land eligible for sale
- Mandate the sale of at least 2 million acres of Forest Service and BLM land

One of the worst outbreaks to hit the Northeast US and Canada spawned 44 tornadoes. 9 were violent, with the strongest being an F5 that devastated Niles, OH & Wheatland, PA. Many other towns in PA, OH, and southern ON were ruined. 88 people were killed.

I understand "NWS was still successful and did a good job despite the adversity" is the fact, but we also need the "Trump & his cronies have knee-capped the NWS and aren't done with the torture" message to be VERY VERY loud. "We did it despite less people" just means more cuts until it break breaks.
