If the general public understood that resident doctors are simply asking for £22ph and for jobs to be available for them to specialise in - instead of having cost the taxpayer £250k to then have to drive Ubers and leave wards hideously short staffed - the govt would lose the argument overnight.

A little while ago, my parents' cat Bridget went missing. As the weeks dragged on, they became extremely worried. My dad devised a way to distract himself: he began to paint Bridget's adventures, imagining her travelling through time and popping up in some of art and music's most iconic scenes.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of @angryhacademic.bsky.social I'm able to provide my vaccine education with more compassion about those negatively impacted. We are able to take time discussing how those injured are oft forgotten, and that's a disservice to scientific ethics.
