No you’re right, the main wiki article on stammering is 😱 but… I was part of a group that wrote a new Wiki page on stammering pride! A few from the group are still involved with responding to edits etc. Wiki editing is a mystery but the concept was great and I loved being involved in the drafting

The Wikipedia page for stammering/stuttering is also terribly pathologisating and ableist, so a working group that I was part of wrote a new wiki page about stammering pride. It’s an important point that prominent sources of public information shape societal understanding.
