Marimar Martinez is a schoolteacher and U.S. citizen. She had no weapon or criminal record, and a CBP officer still shot her five times.

That same officer then bragged about his horrific actions in a group chat.

It's disgusting, and it's shameful. He must be held accountable.

I love this story so much, and I know there was a practical reason behind it, but I also love the idea of a fashion-forward monster cat striking terror in the hearts of Christmas-goers because kitty is *so* judgey. 😼 Reminds me of something @kellydmcc.bsky.social would write. 😆
In Iceland, a giant monster cat was said to stalk the snowy countryside and eat anyone who didn't get new clothes for Christmas. 🐈‍⬛
This terrifying creature is known as the Yule Cat, or Jólakötturinn in Icelandic. 1/

ICE is now racistly terrorizing #Charlotte, NC as they continue their string of utter failures to stop real criminals. They're so cruel & inept, they assaulted this AMERICAN CITIZEN twice, violently detaining him w/in minutes of confirming his citizenship. 🤬

Reposting for legal documentation reach.

Republicans have just proposed defunding Planned Parenthood nationwide.

In doing so, they are telling women and people across the country that our healthcare doesn’t matter and that we are undeserving of care.

It’s time to stop this bill in its tracks.
