Seattle area mom of two extremely fun teenagers. Author of The Queen Trials, The Collapse series, and other books. Believer in humanity. History buff. Love finding weird and arcane connections between seemingly unrelated things.
The kids are off to Pink Prom, hosted by Lambert House but not actually at Lambert House. It's somewhere in Seattle. Nik, Madeline, Delayna, and Marek have formed a 90s cover band specifically for this occasion and will be playing an hour long set.

We put a banana in front of our address to block it out, because this thing we got in the mail today is BANANAS.

Saw some new pics of my perfect children on the interwebs. They are musicians and these were taken at a show at the Funhouse in Seattle yesterday by a photographer named David at Fear City Photography. Their band is Razed by the River and they are amazing and that's not just mom pride talking.

Oooh I just learned about the #BookSky tag and I'm delighted. I write dystopian fiction with a little bit of romance and STRONG female main characters. No simpering idiots here. My most popular book is The Queen Trials. My FAVORITE book I wrote was #5 in The Collapse series, someday I'll tell ya why

I just saw a review for the first book in my Queen Trials series that says "This is a book that says 'F* the patriarchy' with its whole entire heart" and I might not have ever been happier about a review in my *whole entire life.*

Kindle Vella may be ending, but there's nothing like going out with a bang!

I'm still learning this platform, lol. Here is a picture of Madeline playing one of her many instruments. See her live today at Tony V's in Everett at 3pm, where I assume she will play guitar and sing too (this is a bass, for those of you who are not eagle eyed enough to count the strings.)
