My boss gives me Far Side cartoon whenever he delivers my eggs from his chicken farm. *sigh* If only this one were true.

I do love tuxedo cats. My daughter sent me this pic of hers today (she regularly sends me pics of her cats, because although I love them, I’m deathly allergic and so must admire from afar).

I am indeed very proud of her. She truly is an extraordinary young woman. This is one of my favorite photographs of her. The t-shirt she is wearing shows a sword going through the helmet of the Witch King. (The back of her t-shirt, unseen, reads “I Am No Man” [Lord of the Rings]).

I’m interested in the ebook version, but I couldn’t get the QR code to work. When I searched on Amazon directly I found, after some difficulty, a print version, but it said a Kindle version wasn’t available. ??

I am about 44,000 words in & progress on the novel has slowed to a crawl. It is the stupidest novel in the history of literacy. The characters are boring, their problems ridiculous, & inflicting them on readers would be an insult. These feelings at this stage are normal. #writing #writingthebook 📚

He absolutely is wonderful. I keep a copy of “I Will Judge You By Your Bookshelf” on my coffee table and delight in leafing through it periodically.

One year for Christmas, my creative younger daughter gave me an actual copy of Cooking for Ingrates. She’d created it by taking all my blog posts of all the recipes my family had refused to eat and putting them into a Snapfish book. She even created a promotional poster for it.
