We share cars in a city built for cars, and we're rage-y about it. (In a cool, chill way.)
Yesterday, I overheard two people complain about not enough parking in a huge parking lot, and I just listened quietly without arguing or even sighing out loud.

I will be accepting treats today.

A quick reminder that none of our cars know the time today

What's your favourite thing to share after cars?
I'll go first. Popcorn

Driving: What if we didn't and then bragged about it all day?

Walk slower on purpose and stare em down
I never want to see another human trot across a crosswalk, hurry their stroller/kids/mobility device or rush a senior resident through an intersection or any road. It’s ridiculous, like we’ve been gifted some incredible act of patience and kindness from our auto overlords.

Proud to be off the map on this one
Ok this is brilliant. Nearly every transportation planning decision prioritizes the car, but cars aren't available or desired by everyone and that's gotta change. Bravo @nrdc.org

You seem like the kind of person who would ride their bike home from the party (compliment)

Sure, sex is great, but have you ever tried being within walking distance of all your basic needs? (With sidewalks to boot?)

📰We know that the history of the environmental movement within Manitoba is important, and record keeping helps us support that work. We’ve created an online archive of past Eco-Journal issues for FREE - and they’re now available on our website!

If you’re looking for a sign to spend more time on your bicycle and less time in a car, this is it

Snow in November's like: Life is magic! I'm in a Hallmark movie!
Snow in April: Hell is a cold place and I'm in it.

I started watching The Last of Us and they wouldn't have like half the problems they're having if all the major highways weren't built directly THROUGH big cities.

Sometimes on my day off I like to take the bus to the library and really see my tax dollars at work.

Has anyone noticed that for a number of the traffic lights downtown, the pedestrian light started going on several seconds before the green light for motorists?

This isn’t even a joke. Tell me someone has noticed this. I’m begging. (Alright, this might have traversed into joke territory.)

We share cars. Sharing is caring. Caring can be wearing. I’m wearing a hat. Thanks for asking.

Probably one of the worst things about travelling is seeing all the stuff other cities have that we don't.

Reliable mass transit, buildings over six floors, wide sidewalks, a giant pit made by glaciers thousands of years ago... I could go on.

We're new here, and we're going to try a less algorithmic approach. Who should we follow?

Interests include urbanism, environmentalism, carsharing, and not taking things too seriously.

Today I took the bus from home to work. Some sociologists call these the 1st and 2nd places. In between, I stopped at a cafe, apparently a 3rd place. Now I'm here you on the internet, more recently called a 4th place.

Are there more places, or do sociologists not know what comes after four?

Landing here after realising I don't have enough ~masculine energy~ for Threads.

And yes, I know big zuck said that two months ago, which might as well be 1901 by internet standards, but I think the main thing you should know about me now is I need to move slower than the internet.
