As much as I love writing, sometimes I wish I could draw so I could create a graphic novel. I know it wouldn't be easy, but if I had the skills I'd surely give it a go.

I love new adult/adult SFF books with trans men in M/M romances - admittedly, it's the only genre I'll read for fun. It's also the only genre I tend to write. Should I branch out and read other genres? Sure. Will I? Nope.

I hiss under my breath as the razor nicks at the skin on my jaw, a droplet of blood blossoming before I can reach for a piece of tissue paper. I use the edge of my towel to wipe it away but it only smudges it across my skin, tinting the shaving foam a pale pink.

I can't believe I managed to write 500 words today! Hopefully I can keep this up without wanting to switch to a different WIP.

Outlining done, now onto the (sort of) script before I start on the prose! I'm hoping to get 100 words a day done at the very least. It's not a lot but I'm in no rush!

All of my current WIPs have trans men who love men as the main characters, but the one I'm furthest along with follows 25-year-old Ronan. He has a love-hate relationship with his job as a monster hunter for hire; he loves to protect other humans, but hates that he's become a killer because of it.

I know it's been done before but after a particularly vivid dream last night I kind of want to write a gay Beauty & the Beast retelling about a trans guy who offers to become a food source for a brooding vampiric man & they fall in love. The problem? I struggle to write brooding love interests.

My writing process is so silly but my procrastinating self can't get anything done any other way. Concept > Outline > Script > Story. Writing without a script just leads to writer's block for me.
