PSA: the CDC has a program that pays for your COVID vaccine if your insurer won't. The guy at CVS told me that my insurer had not added the new vaccine to its formulary yet, so I'd need to pay $190. I told him about this program, showed him the website, and paid nothing. 🤗

not to be That Person but i'm ready to move to the bay area, these views changed me a little. i'm so glad to be in a state so soon after surgery to go for a short hike, it's so nice to get out of the house and into nature !!

i didn't realize how much of what you do with your arms involves your chest muscles too until i had to start getting other people to open the fridge door for me because it turns out that, one day after top surgery, my body doesn't love me pulling on things with any force

my experience is that there's a deeply ingrained white middle-class social norm that violence is forgivable as long as the person committing it does so politely and that rudeness is inexcusable even if the intent behind it is fundamentally pro-social
