After a small technical hiccup that delayed its launch, the YouTube Channel of The Peace Talks Project is finally coming online next week.

Here is a quote from the historical speech of Victor Hugo that will be featured in the first video.

Peace will never be built by people throwing dirt at each other across a great divide, each enclosed in their own bubble. Hard as it may be, and as justified as anger and resistance to tyranny are, and they are, it is vital that we keep the bridges of communication open, or all hope is lost.

This is what Peace looks like. Two countries at war for most of their history, now true friends. It takes vision and maturity to outgrow hatred and the prejudices of the past.
Those who subdue their own people or think they need a gun to create peace have yet to learn this lesson.

The first audio episode of The Peace Talks Project is now live on Patreon and will be available on YouTube about a week from now.
There is also a Ko-Fi page for anyone wanting to donate to the project.
All proceeds go towards funding a short film based around Victor Hugo's historical address.
