My 2025 music year in review! A little early, but I have bandwidth now so I went ahead and did it.
One thing that doesn't get talked about much regarding the Twilight Zone's "It's a Good Life" (as mainstream of an opinion as it is, it's my #1 episode) is how Rod Serling just sets the whole thing up with an absolute gigantic monologue. He just goes on and on spelling out all the whole scenario.

1.5 episodes in, and I'm calling it quits on Welcome to Derry. Tacky CGI (why are people okay with this?), little suspense, and completely over-the-top on every level. I'm slightly intrigued by the military stuff and the pilot's family, and I respect that it's held back on Bill Skarsgård appearing.

Fun fact! My next project is a print-only Choose-Your-Own-Adventure (I'm aware that specific phrase is trademarked)-style horror book aimed at younger readers. I've currently got it outlined and formatted, and have written the intro. Just got to write the 'substance'! This'll be fun.

I'm far into the newish Superman movie &, while I take no pleasure in saying it...I'm just too old for this. The casting is good & there are some nice visual gags, but this is for 10 year olds. I just don't have it in me to enjoy it anymore. Which is okay I guess, not everything needs to be for me.
