$6.25B is a lot, but he's worth over $250B and his stock is up 2% because of the publicity, so he won't lose anything. Instead of giving $250 to them, which might grow to $1000 by the time they're 18, enough for a month of groceries, using the money for targeted programs might have been more useful.
