The goal of these ICE protests is to slow down the monster and, ultimately, to kill it. There is no negotiation. There are no demands. Cease, or die.
Every extra hour that ICE spends facing off with activists is an hour they can't spend kidnapping other people.

Every extra minute ICE has to spend contingency planning around activists and neighbors, every extra officer ICE has to put on a kidnap squad, is a drain on their efficiency.

for sourcing supplies we try to avoid ordering from amazon when we can. wholesale websites are a good alternative to buy bulk supplies if it’s within your means (we often use bags in bulk dot com). if you can’t afford to buy any supplies, write down free resources in your community and provide that!

treat people like people, simple as that.

congregate warming shelters aren’t the best option for everyone for a variety of reasons. ask what else they might need to stay safe. people know best what their own needs are. be honest if something isn’t within your means, but don’t let that possibility prevent you from engaging.

the county provides free transportation to warming shelters by calling 211. offer to call for someone so they can get there safely.
