So frustrating. The urgency in the NBA to win it all right away. I attribute this to this bs that the media, the players and the fans turned into a truth: "if a player doesn't win a ring, he's not among the greats.". James Harden being the worst exemple of how this chase for a ring is ruining NBA!
The Cleveland Cavaliers front office held a staff-wide Zoom call in the first week of January.

They were feeling the pressure from Donovan Mitchell.

This is the best take I've seen about James Harden. Never delivered when it mattered. The closest the Rockets got from a title with him, they choked against the Warriors after CP3 injured his hamstring. I liked this team Cavs built, but now with Harden... Forget it!!

Just can't believe yet another team is falling for this trap which is Harden. He never delivered when it mattered the most. Now the Cavs, which had an exciting young team, joins the list of those who do everything to try to win it all RIGHT NOW, not allowing their team to mature and evolve together
What a week for the Cavaliers.

They dump De'Andre Hunter to add Dennis Schröder and Keon Ellis for some point of attack defense. Then, they swap Darius Garland for James Harden.

Donald Trump’s approval numbers are in the tank, which may or may not have something to do with the fact that on multiple occasions in recent weeks he has teased the idea of somehow canceling the midterm elections.

An ICE official told a judge that showing his face would put his life in danger. Turns out his face was on his LinkedIn profile.

It's a "clear example" of the false pretexts used to shield officials from accountability, FPF's Seth Stern writes in @theintercept.com.
Judge Censored an ICE Agent’s Face Over “Threats.” His Info Was a Google Search Away.
After a judge agreed to keep an ICE agent’s face out of the court record, a simple internet search revealed his name and location.

Finally the world is cutting USA off! This US dependency in every sector of life must end! This is the only good legacy of Trump's administration
“The main event is this: the world is building optionality away from U.S. policy and platform dependence. And once you see it, you can’t unsee it — because it’s showing up in procurement decisions, supply chains, defense budgets, and capital flows”

The government illegally raided journalist Hannah Natanson’s home, abusing the legal system to do it.

This search flatly violated federal law. The court must order all her property returned and demand the DOJ explain why it hid the law banning raids on reporters’ homes.

Aqui entra a diferença propaganda-desinformação.
As grandes empresas de comunicação fazem sempre esse mesmo papel de bússola dos valores do supremacismo branco. Os governadores da extrema-direita do Sul e Centro-Oeste vão ter plataforma a vontade.
