NEW— ICE vehicles chased a landscaping truck through Takoma Park, MD, on Monday about a mile from DC, which ended with the truck crashing on someone’s lawn and narrowly missing another car, multiple residents confirm to me. Video shows ICE going into a backyard to find/arrest the men from the truck.

I've been struggling to find the words all day, but there are no good words for this awful situation. My heart is broken for Rep. Hortman & Mark Hortman, Sen. Hoffman & Yvette Hoffman, their families, communities, & colleagues. No legislator should have to fear violence for serving their community.
Melissa Hortman, the top Democrat in the Minnesota House, and her husband were killed on Saturday in what Gov. Tim Walz called “an act of targeted political violence.” State Senator John Hoffman and his wife were also shot by the same gunman, officials said. Here’s what we know about the victims.
