Relax
This is only in the USA. The rest of the World is not rushing to change its maps. It’s quite common for different countries to call the same thing by different names. There’s no way the French call it “the English Channel” They call the water between France & England “La Manche” -“the sleeve”
Gulf of Mexico is now Gulf of America on Google Maps:

I wondered about this as well. It’s criminal prosecution, not a biography ( where you might seek input from the subject prior to publication). It should just have been filed and simultaneously published.
As I wrote this morning to Democracy Docket premium members, everything we see going on in Judge Cannon's courtroom was entirely predictable.

The lack of courage we see now is mostly optimism bias. My 4 year research project into the Third Reich and Holocaust taught me within the first year that by far the biggest hurdle we’d face was getting people to believe there is a crisis before the crisis actually hits.

From the timing (a judge had ordered Trump to sit for deposition next week), it seems ABC News didn't even bother to depose Trump, much less file for summary judgment, and instead paid a $15m bribe to a slush fund Presidential "foundation" not yet established. It's obscene.
JUST IN: A day after Trump and George Stephanopoulos were ordered to appear for depositions, they settled the case.

ABC has agreed to make a $15 million contribution to Trump presidential museum/foundation and air an apology for mischaracterizing the E. Jean Carroll verdict.

2024 was a record-breaking election cycle for voting rights litigation. While there was a surge of anti-voting lawsuits filed, courts continued to deliver victories for voters.

Just to be clear: the incoming Trump administration is going to war against their own Republican senate majority and the constitution's advice and consent provision so they can make a man investigated for ***sex trafficking a minor*** into the most powerful law enforcement officer in the country.
