PCS is to enter into intensive talks for 2 weeks from Monday (3) aimed at resolving our long-standing disputes with government contractors OCS, ISS and G4S over pay, terms & conditions. Planned strike action will be suspended from 3 - 17 March.

The #PCS survey of G4S security staff working in jobcentres shows that under-staffing and the use of agency staff for security in jobcentres leaves workers and service users at risk.
81% had experienced dangerous incidents at work in the last 12 months.

81% said they had experienced dangerous incidents at work in the last 12 months.

The UK Government is currently preparing for the 2025 spending review, which will set departmental budgets for the next three years – affecting our members’ jobs, pay and the services they provide. And PCS has sent in a submission in an attempt to influence the plans.
