It was another impressive showing on the picket line from PCS DWP strikers in Lincoln today on the 4th day of their action. And they were visited by more picket line pooches and a kind local authority worker who bought them breakfast #Solidarity #DWPLincolnStrike #PCSonStrike

PCS extends its sympathy and solidarity to all those affected by the mass stabbing attack on a London North Eastern Railway train near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire on Saturday night.

The risible wages are well-known in the wider field of the library, museum, gallery and archive world. I’d like to think public opinion is with the people who make the place click day-in-day-out; they deserve better.
Knowledge may be free but labour isn’t: spread the wealth and pay the workers!

DWP has announced that it plans to close 3 more Service and Support Centres in Dover, Warrington and St Helens in September 2026.
PCS members in the Lincoln City Hall Service Centre will strike from 4 November to 17 November to fight the closure of their office.
