From the IBX to 60+ newly accessible @NYCTSubway stations, there's a lot on the line for @MTA riders in Albany this year.

Governor Hochul and the Legislature must agree to fully fund the MTA capital plan, delivering the transit system New Yorkers deserve and creating 72,000 jobs.

Subway and bus riders shouldn't need the luck of the Irish to afford their fare. 🍀🌈

Proud to stand with @cssnyorg.bsky.social, @ridersalliance.org, and more to call for expansion of Fair Fares to 200% of the federal poverty level.
March 17, 2025 at 5:12 PM
Thank you, @nycspeakeradams.bsky.social, for championing Fair Fares and working to make sure all New Yorkers can afford transit!

We need to expand the eligibility threshold to 200% FPL and to the @mtalirr.bsky.social and @metronorth.bsky.social in NYC.

A standing ovation for @govkathyhochul.bsky.social as she delivers remarks at the @MTA Board meeting.

Thank you for standing with subway, bus, @mtalirr.bsky.social, and @metronorth.bsky.social riders, Governor!

Thank you to all those who joined our "Breakfast of Transit Champions" yesterday and to Senator Comrie for hosting.

With your support, we'll enact the Rider-First Fare Agenda this budget — making the @mta.info more affordable and equitable than ever before.

Wow! Since congestion relief began, travel times on river crossings into the Central Business District are down 10% to 48% and bus speeds are up.

Congestion pricing is working.

As seen in @politico.com New York Playbook this morning: more than three dozen elected officials and advocates joined us in calling for @govkathyhochul.bsky.social to include our Rider-First Fare Agenda in her Executive Budget.

Great to see this Congestion Pricing Now Coalition billboard gracing Times Square.

Less traffic, cleaner air, better transit, and safer streets are here thanks to congestion pricing and @govkathyhochul.bsky.social.

New Yorkers got good news today from Judge Leo M. Gordon, who ruled that Congestion Pricing can start as scheduled on January 5th. The first-in-the-nation program will reduce traffic, improve air quality, and bring critical funding for essential transit infrastructure projects.

The ADA upgrades at 68st–Hunter College mark the last of 100 🔑 stations identified when the ADA was signed.

This milestone, which came in $21 million under budget, would not have been possible without @schumer.senate.gov and @repjerrynadler.bsky.social who delivered $140 million in federal funds.

Happy to join @ridersalliance.org for the release of their new report with the Pratt Center which found 87% of Flatbush Ave. bus riders support bus lanes.

After years of inaction, it's time for #BetterBuses on Flatbush!
