“In order to ‘Make American Great Again’, Trump simply had to reduce the number of Americans that he has to make it great for.”

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.

I’m so sick of TikTok’s report system being utter garbage. The app is littered with bot accounts and scammers trying to pretend to be someone else, and all of my reports “don’t violate guidelines”

It’s been like this since the blackout. Not even close to being the same app

I want to scream. So I will.

YOUR JOB IS TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT. NOT THE ECONOMY.

The role of government in capitalistic society is to suffocate big businesses.

ALMOST LIKE WE DONT CARE ABOUT POISONING IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES.

We can’t afford to not act.

Yo @durbin.senate.gov, no one is picking up your Senate phone and you don’t even have a voicemail. Vote no on cloture and the spending bill or I will do whatever it takes to make sure the next Senator from Illinois has basic constituent services set up during business hours.

I’m so sick of everything being about selling something.

I get it, we’re all struggling right now. But everywhere I look it’s TikTok Shop ads or pages promoting OnlyFans or fitness routines and recipe books or self development programs.

It’s sickening. Our attention has been commercialized.

“They were careless people… they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness, or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made…”

“Capitalism is, by definition, exploitative. It’s how it operates; that’s fine. But then government’s role should be to ease the negative effects on Americans of that exploitation, not subsidize that treachery with our money.”

Sure, in a country where over half of fourth graders can’t meet the reading standard, we should totally leave it to the parents to educate their kids! (EdTrust)

We’re facing a national literacy crisis. Parents cannot be solely responsible for educating children in this country

(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

In case anyone is still confused…

Russia attacked Ukraine. Stole and occupied Ukrainian territory and refused to acknowledge it as a nation for years. Continues to be the aggressor.

Zelensky wants peace — he does NOT want a deal. Why should he roll over and give Putin what he wants?

Chapter 35 of The Handmaid’s Tale is beautifully heartbreaking.

Highly encourage everybody, but especially men, who haven’t read it yet to pick up a copy.

“In the past this would have been a trivial enough remark, a kind of scholarly speculation. Right now it’s treason” The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood.

The world we live in is dangerously close to this attitude.

The youth EVERYWHERE are tired of this shit. These old ass ideas will die with the people who hold them. We will not sit idly by as they intoxicate the minds of our peers, our siblings, the people we will have to work with to fix the world that THEY have tried so hard to destroy
The youth in Cincinnati are pretty rad.

Not to sound tinfoil hat-esk, but is it JUST Elon and Trump we need to be worried about?

Who in their gang of cronies stands to take their place if one of the head hanchos falls?

When I was 15, I was using my $7 Walmart soldering kit late at night. I couldn’t afford helping hands so I tried to use the shitty stand and burned into my fingers.

No, I don't need a bloody copilot for this document, thank you.

Writing is, in no small part, a tool for thinking. If you outsource that element to a machine that cannot think, you shouldn't be surprised if, at the end of the process, neither you nor your reader are any the wiser.
