This is exactly what we need!
AG William Tong (D-CT) and other states are suing Trump and the Secretary of Treasury to block DOGE’s access to confidential records, sensitive data, and critical payment systems.

“This represents the biggest data breach in American history, and we are fighting back.”

2009 Obama 28°F
1977 Carter 28°F
1961 Kennedy 22°F

It’s not about the cold… it’s about the small crowd size.

The temperature at noon on Monday will be 22 degrees which is the same temperature it was in 1961 when Kennedy was inaugurated.

The ceremony was held outside.

This pattern hasn't changed much, has it?
In 1979, Jimmy Carter installed solar panels on the White House. In 1986, Ronald Reagan tore them down along w/Carter’s clean energy funding.

This sums up the difference between the two men & political parties. Investing in solutions for the future vs canceling progress to score political points.

I write how Democrats need to take credit for their accomplishments loudly and blame MAGA for their failures loudly. Sure, self-promotion can feel gross sometimes. But, with lives on the line, politicians need to sell their policies and their brand.

Through executive order, President Biden should mandate that the FBI conduct background investigations on Trump’s picks and instruct the FBI to begin the process now. The U.S. Senate should use its power to request the same of the FBI.

Lots of people are about to be really mad that price of eggs goes up but they can’t get a 2nd job because they can’t afford childcare and when they do finally get the eggs they get E Coli because there’s no FDA but can’t go to the doctor because they got kicked off their health plan. #FAFO

It took me twelve years (!) to build up my audience on Twitter. It took 5 days to surpass the 50% point of my Twitter following on Bluesky. I’m hopeful that the overall growth on this site will negate the need to go on Twitter altogether. Sad to see what it devolved into, but thrilled to see it die.
