Both crypto and "AI" got a lot of money put behind them because the most powerful fantasy of the bourgeoisie is a form of capital that creates wealth without the need for labor. And both crypto and "AI" are doomed enterprises in large part because the creation of wealth without labor is fantasy.
The whole gen AI thing should really REALLY make you realize how much the executive class hates employees and customers. They collectively burned BILLIONS OF DOLLARS on what was always an obvious scam merely because they caught a whiff of a chance they could eliminate 90%+ of our jobs
