Would greatly appreciate a detour into the whimsical and absurd. Thank you.
Why is she verification now required to access BlueSky, but not other platforms?

Heretic was almost brilliant.
Loads of intrigue, great performances, oodles of 'wasn't expecting that', some WTF, 'yuk' and 'where the hell is this going'?
Then the realisation that the writers wrote themselves into a corner as they wheel out the cliche wagon for the final act.

Tempting as it may be, 8647 is no longer a safe PIN for your phone, padlocks or bank card. Way too easy to guess. You might as well go for 6969.

"In court, he projected a headline about [Kara Swisher] recently calling Mark Zuckerberg a “small little creature with a shriveled soul.”"

One of the reasons why I like and trust Kara Swisher.

Season 2 of Poker Face.
I love the way they've baked it in the same mold as The Rockford Files and Columbo. Natasha Lyonne is brilliant in it, and the first episode of the new season was totally fucking stupid.
Great stuff.

My copy of his new book, "Ocean" arrived today.
Sometimes I wonder if he's the only good famous Brit left.

I don't know how much of Sarah Wynn-Williams' book 'Careless People' is true, but suspect there's a lot of truth in there.
It's chilling.
But I also suspect that she's trying to whitewash her own role in enabling Meta's shit by pretending she was the only voice of reason in a room of twunts.

I'd love to see the Greens take more seats in Westminster. And I know that what works works. It just feels dirty.

A friend just drew my attention to a forthcoming film called 'Weapons'. In it, a whole class of students disappears overnight. As a teacher myself, I think it's great to see feel-good movies coming back into our cinemas. Roll on August 8th!

Wanna see something cool?

The result? The crowd losing its mind. 🔥

I saw The Orphanage in the cinema when it was first released in 2007.
At the time, I didn't think I'd ever watch it again.
Tonight, I sat down with my son and gave it a second viewing.
It really is one of the best haunted house movies ever. And it hits even harder on the second viewing.
