34 years of scary lows, exhausting highs, finger pricks, shots, and food math. 34 years of insurance denials, medical gaslighting, perpetual overhanging doom.

My brain just completely plotted a cozy fantasy novel AND I got all the notes down AND the notes make sense! I guess after my coffee I'm starting to type. Now I just need character names because only one of the main side characters came named in my mental plot.

🧵 I always love Samhain and Halloween. As a kid it was always a little rough though. At 9 I got diagnosed with T1 diabetes. Back then candy and chocolate were completely banned from me (doctor's rules). My parents got creative and made a deal with me that I loved. I would go trick or treating.

I needed the hope I got from my work this weekend. One of my pup friends needed to be rehomed, and yesterday I got her moved into her new home.
The pup in question is unbelievably sweet, but has been through a lot and therefore nervous and does not trust easily. She won't eat if worried.

As @gregpak.net has noted, unless there was a specific clause in all the contracts that allows for this, they can't go back and retroactively amend contracts without the author's consent. This is a class action suit waiting to happen.

I dropped a poster tube in the #sdcc exhibit hall trying to get a signature. The poster inside has 2 dozen autographs collected at events in multiple states and countries. The tube has a name and address on it, it’s easy to id; but I’m devastated, I feel like such an idiot. #sdcclostandfound

I've been having a rough time mentally lately. Seeing Superman with my husband was a relief. I laughed a ton and loved almost everything about it (the comic fanatic in me had one issue, but the logic side understood and accepted the change).
