34 years of scary lows, exhausting highs, finger pricks, shots, and food math. 34 years of insurance denials, medical gaslighting, perpetual overhanging doom.

She ate her dinner! It was her 1st meal in her new home and she ate! She also snuggled with one of her new human children and her (old friend, new sibling) dog sister!
I love knowing that I helped a family find more love and a dog find love and safety. I needed that.

I cleaned out the fridge, er well a lot of it. Wiped down the tub. Completed 1 medical phone call and a few billing/tracking issue emails. Cuddled w/Maddy while reading 1/2 a book and got the upstairs kitty to purr and give me his tummy!
There may have been more, but I'm saying I can now finish 📖 !

Mine mains are set prep for the day routines, lists, a schedule book with post-its. Oh and my pup, she enforces my routines (when we need to leave the house, go to bed, etc) so her pic is included.

and as a dog trainer I found the experience extra fascinating! It was amazing to see some of my training methods for mixing different animals work smoothly with giant predators (as opposed to the tiny felines I see).
Meeting a 1.5 year old gator Frodo was awesome too!

I have had to choose between food or insulin (always chose insulin because you can beg or steal food). I have ALWAYS had medical insurance and worked my butt off to be sure of it (no time for sleep, but I had what I needed). I now own and run my own business doing what I love (recent work pic).
