Did you know that polling companies commonly skew Yes/No indy statistics by using out-of-date 2014 weighting, artificially boosting No and reducing Yes totals?

Ah, another year, another set of English "Mayors" (functionally Provincial Governors, or at least Provincial Glorified Housing and Transport Ministers) elected on lower turnout than even the lowest Scottish Council, whilst some still try to sell the idea here as one of increasing participation.

These are my thoughts, every time I wait at a crossing that takes more than a few seconds to change.
This is the worst one round here, where hundreds of school kids wait to get safely across a 40mph road. Oh, and, of course, there are always drivers who jump the red when it finally changes.
