Just one correction from Friday’s show. It’s “four colly (not calling) birds”. @mrjamesob.bsky.social @lbc.co.uk

IT WAS THAT FUCKING EASY!? If only we’d known 15 years ago…
Nigel Farage has gone to war with the BBC after a radio presenter suggested he had “a relationship when he was younger with Hitler,” vowing he would not speak to the national broadcaster until it apologized for its own past “racist” content.

The Reform UK leader says he will not speak to the national broadcaster until they apologize for all their own past racist coverage.

INSANE!
Nigel Farage was a racist bully at school but Rachel Reeves won the wrong chess championship so who can say who is worse?
December 3, 2025 at 3:23 PM
No, THIS is insane.
This is the point where the anti-Reeves stories tip into madness. Criticise her performance all you like but what the hell is this?

Abysmal, mindless, utterly zombified. You can't even call it policymaking because that implies a degree of thought which simply isn't present. Pretty soon they might actually hit Cameron's 'tens of thousands' target and then they'll shit themselves with horror at the consequences.
PM describes net migration of 205k as "a step in the right direction". His govt has no public position on a sustainable level of immigration is, nor any known process to decide what, why & how. Starmer is now implying he wants it significantly lower

Net migration peaked at a record 944,000 in the year to March 2023 but has fallen sharply since then.

If you receive legal threats from Nigel Farage for your reporting of Reform, please get in touch.

We have employed a defamation lawyer specifically for this purpose and would love to help (and we do so on non-commercial terms). www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

On yesterday’s show you did a hook and tease about a YouGov poll of what think about the tatty flags on lampposts, but you didn’t deliver. Please could you rectify that today? @mrjamesob.bsky.social @lbc.co.uk

There are two possible reasons.

1. He didn’t think he’d win, and that he could use that as “proof” that there was a witch hunt.

2. He thought he’d win and that when he was in power, tell everyone it was a hoax and hoped that enough would buy it.

Gotta give it to that Tory guy, a true politician. He had to defend his job as net zero minister, while defending his party’s policy on wanting to increase use of burning gas and oil, AND at the same time find a way of attacking Labour. He held 3 different positions his answer to one question #BBCQT
