That's what happens when ideology trumps facts.

Maths indeed. It really is very simple: 8x10*9 people on Earth, and a healthy planet are mutually exclusive.

He showed his true colours.

"We should have a maximum income and wealth level above which no one should rise."

He "struggles" to give a number because he knows dammed well it would expose his own hypocrisy. Please block me again as well as I don't want your virtue signalling showing up on my feed.

Ask anyone and it's always "somebody else's" fault, isn't it?

Literally 8 billion plus finger pointers.

See our problem?

Money and virtue signalling.

The bandwagon fallacy.
November 5, 2025 at 11:19 PM
The only false narrative that's allowed in popular discourse is to imply that if not for evil governments/FF companies/elites we'd be able to turn the planet into a utopia. This is an opiate for those who don't want to accept the full meaning of tragedy of the commons.

Perfect example why optimism bias gets us into endless trouble.

It's for all the other climate virtue-signallers. They have to be the change they want to see otherwise everyone will just point and laugh at them. They're always full of pathetic rationalizing as to why they're exempt for their message but everyone else has to live what they say. So sick of it.

It's very simple: Frequent-flyers forfeit any right to cry crocodile tears over climate change. Doesn't matter if the message is right, nobody will (rightly) listen because they have zero integrity. Walk the talk or stop the righteous grandstanding, it's counter productive.

Also wind and solar are dependent on fossil fuels. Of course they never tell you that.
October 4, 2025 at 3:08 AM
The panels don't directly emit themselves, but when they are making power they need a fossil fuel plant on idle 24/7 ready to take up the slack when the clouds come. No fossil fuel power, no solar/wind as they are dependant on FFs.

Of course that inconvenient detail is always left out though.
