Why? Neglect. Misunderstanding. And a hell of a lot of greenwashing.
This overpopulation argument is a nice way to avoid touching any systemic and political issues and aspects.
This is a boon for our toxic economic system and its maintenance in our minds as something "natural".
Last week it was, "we can feed 10 billion people.' This week, 'civilisation might be collapsing, make friends with your neighbours.'
