Ah, good, at least there was an explanation. Clearly young me didn't pick up on that and I need to another viewing. I know season two has a slightly different vibe, but I seem to recall it's still much more watchable than Larson's changes to Buck Rogers?

What I questioned even as a kid is how an obviously sub-light velocity got the Moon to exoplanets so quickly. It sort of dented my suspension of disbelief for what was otherwise a pretty hard sci-fi show.

(If there was a wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey explanation, I must have missed it.)
