My parents owned a small business – their hard work taught me the values that led me to operate a business of my own. This Small Business Week, let's say thank you to the thousands of creative, resilient small business owners across B.C. who embody the best of our province!

Forestry workers built this province. Today, as they face unprecedented attacks from Donald Trump, we stand united with workers and industry leaders.

We are calling on Ottawa to deliver the support they committed to the forestry sector — and to do it now.

For 50 years, Vanterm has connected BC to the world & is a key component of trade diversification.

As Parliamentary Secretary for Trade, it was my pleasure to help commemorate their 50th anniversary & meet many dedicated longshore workers who’ve helped make Vanterm a top terminal in North America.

BC’s growth is Canada’s growth.

A TeamCanada approach means we can defend Canadian steel producers while ensuring BC has access to fairly priced steel, so we can build our infrastructure, grow the economy, and continue supporting steel workers in B.C.

Strong communities are the foundation of a strong B.C. and Canada. As we face global economic challenges and ongoing tariff threats, we must all stand together to defend British Columbians.

Grateful to delegates and community leaders for all the productive conversations at #UBCM

My message at NYC Climate Week: Look to BC!

Our clean energy means we can produce the lowest carbon energy products anywhere in the world.

While clean tech is chased out of other places, they are welcomed in BC.

We are ready to do this work while bringing prosperity to BC and Canada.

As the gateway between Asia-Pacific markets and the rest of Canada, B.C. plays a strategic role in connecting Canada's key exports to global markets.

This weekend, we celebrate the workers who built this province and continue to make it the place we all know and love. The Labour movement has won the rights we all enjoy today and is still fighting for workers every day.

Happy Labour Day!

British Columbians are feeling the impact of unfair US tariffs on softwood and aluminum. We welcome a deal that works for BC, but let’s keep focused on moving to other markets who want our products. We will continue to grow our economy and deliver more family-supporting jobs for people.
