Spent my weekend in the beautiful city of Parma for some food, coffee and football. Took in the Parma v Como match, but the reason why I was in the area was for the Sassuolo v Roma game! Glad we dug in and defended our 1-0 win. The atmosphere from the Roma fans was brilliant. Relentless support.

Sad to hear of the death of Padre Fedele. He was the volcanic monk who worked with Cosenza ultras to open food banks and build peace between ultra gangs. Irascible, idealistic and controversial, he was a legendary figure in Calabria. Sit tibi terra levis.

Just finished my whirlwind tour of Swedish football over the last three days. Here’s a mini thread.

Great first day at the EFFC25 in Malmo. It was a privilege to be part of the first Disability & Inclusion Fans Network event, where we can make a positive difference for disabled football fans by working with authorities and clubs. Met some great people. Learnt a lot about Swedish football culture.
🗣️ FSE & co-hosts MFF Support opened #EFFC25 tonight followed by an address from UEFA Deputy General Secretary Giorgio Marchetti.

👋MFFsupport, SFSU, Supporterhuset, Malmösystrar, & Allsvenskan also gave a thorough insight into the Swedish football landscape to attendees.

On this day in 1984, Liverpool won the European Cup against AS Roma in Rome.

For Roma, it was the start of a long unraveling and the beginning of the end for their great captain, Agostino Di Bartolomei.

Visited the Basilica of Superga and the Superga Memorial. It serves as a poignant reminder of the tragic 1949 plane crash that claimed the lives of the Torino football team, leaving a profound impact on the club, Turin and Italian football. Beautiful views from the top.
