I have a new blog, building on the work of @michaeldoron.bsky.social . If you love Star Wars, Andor, Grogu and the Mandalorian, then don't read it. The blog is not about any of that: lobworth.com/2025/06/27/s...
Space and size: students as relational cartographers in my new frontier of history teaching

And here it is. Finally. Surrounded by some of the scholarship that shaped it. It’s beautiful and such fun to teach - it has given my Year 8 class stories to live inside. A parent messaged me to say history has ‘never been so fun!’ - all I did was tell the class stories from this book.

This story of mahogany is one of the most thought-provoking and illuminating approaches to teaching the transatlantic slave trade I've ever come across. @hannahcusworth.bsky.social has blended her original research into a mesmerising story for Y8, evoking contrasting but connected worlds #Soane25
Fab workshop from @hannahcusworth.bsky.social on teaching the transatlantic slave trade via the story of mahogany. So interesting.
