I just called my reps with @5calls.org, you should too: 5calls.org
I had the pleasure of talking directly to someone at Paxton's office in defense of Section 504 and calling him a capitulating coward. Calls are quick and easy.

Elmo being bad at code and video games is the 21st century equivalent to Hitler being a terrible artist. Fragile egos have done so much damage to our lives.

World's in chaos and Jaden Smith was like, fuck it—painting my dollhouse and wearing it tonight. Honestly, I get it.

Decades of "pay attention" and "I told you so" for events that lead up to today's hellscape isn't giving me schadenfreude, but knowing their playbook is very helpful right now. Ultimately they are incompetent morons throwing crap to see what sticks. Classic shock doctrine tactics.

Remember the Tea Party’s performative defense of the Constitution? Those same people are now happily taking dumps on it. I worked with people who called them “intelligent” and they're strangely silent now. Pepperidge Farm remembers.

My mom grew up while the occupation wound down, but remnants lingered past the war. Reparative education to learn our past isn't to feel shame; it's so we don't pass horrors down to our children. #authoritarianism

“Firing” a humanitarian who already ditched your ass two weeks ago isn’t the flex you think it is. Support World Central Kitchen doing the good work.

Y'all don't know what life under authoritarian govt is like and it shows. South Korea. 1987. My mom and I got trapped during one of the demonstrations in the ongoing democratic movement. We always carried masks back then, not for illness, but for tear gas.

I'm autistic. You know what I don't do? Nazi salutes. Sexual assault. Stop blaming our disabilities. Terrible people are terrible regardless of their diagnosis.

The media blaming Leon's autism for that salute is now going to be a typical Monday blurb. Buckle down, y'all.

Under Chair Lina Khan, the FTC just voted to ban junk fees in hotels and live-event ticketing.

This is exactly what government working for the people looks like.

The lone no vote against this rule? Trump's pick for FTC Chair Andrew Ferguson.

The contrast couldn't be clearer.
Trump FTC Pick Casts Lone No Vote on Rule Banning Deceptive Junk Fees | Common Dreams
Andrew Ferguson has opposed several major initiatives championed by Lina Khan, including FTC rules banning anti-worker noncompete agreements and making it easier for consumers to cancel subscriptions.

My brain has ruminated my diagnosis by replaying my entire life, like watching key events through this lens with clarity. To that end, I have contacted folks who might’ve been caught in my burnout whirlwind. Response or not, it’s allowing my brain to finally move past those facepalming moments.

I found this infographic this morning and it blew my mind. How did I not KNOW?! I was treading water and not understanding why things were not working. I still have rough days, but every week is better now that I understand why I feel and react the way I do. Coping strategies have been life savers.

I have been quiet for a few months to silently process a lot of changes this past year. By some miracle, I have finally reached the tier to work on self-actualization.
