My annual update of sea level observations and trends at Virginia Key near #Miami:
The 2024 annual average water level was the 3rd highest on record, just below 2023 and 2022 (18.6-yr LNC removed). The trend is upward at an average rate of ~2.8 inches or 7.0 cm per decade. [1/4] 🌊

Interesting story. I am not sure I could handle living with someone who buys into conspiracy theories, though. My fact-based mind could not handle supporting that level of "kool-aid" drinking. :-(
