After buying it for $18.8 billion, Walgreens' new private equity owner has eliminated paid holidays for all hourly workers on Christmas and New Year's.

An old poem. Whenever I hear "Winter Wonderland," I remember writing this poem, sitting in a Starbucks in Mesa, AZ, visiting my mother over the holidays, as I did for years when she retired there. Now she's dead these seven years, and I'm still dreaming by fires. Anyway, Happy Xmas. See you Friday.

I saw someone tell a woman concerned about their tummy bulging a little that it's because women have an extra organ, the uterus, in there in front of the intestines so it pooches out a little. Never heard that before but it makes sense. It's completely normal.
