Rep Beyer is my congressman and despite being of the older generation of reps he has done a good job representing our district. It sounds like he is meeting the moment with some seriousness
Rep Don Beyer just called mw- same as two weeks ago.

I answer the phone, it drops me into the audio town hall.

I had signed up for updates and didn't even know this was happening.

It's nice. A good use of tech.

Even if it's gonna be a shitshow of ANGRY Feds.

Dems should take a hard line: no CRs or debt ceiling increases without full reinstatement of fired federal employees with back pay and an independent special prosecutor that Trump can't fire to investigate what happened over the last week with Musk.

Mr. Cuban is right. Time for the fuck around phase.

Lots of pickup trucks are made in Canada and about to be extra pricey
I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.

I apologize to all the people it will cost money and the businesses it will hurt.

But it’s the only way for tariffs to be seen for what they are

Trump released dangerous criminals and made America LESS safe
"Thug Released By Trump Attacks Hero Cop A Week After Release"

The press isn't even going to ask Trump about it.

I briefed her once when she was the Vice Commandant. She was nice and we had a very engaging discussion about international maritime law enforcement cooperation.

But I guess she had to go because "woke"? 😕

Bruh he is so fucking stupid. He had plenty of time to prep for basic-ass questions
Duckworth: How many nations are in ASEAN?

Hegseth: We have allies in South Korea, Japan, and Australia

Duckworth: None of those countries are in ASEAN

The Pod Bros giving Allan Lichtman and his 13 Keys their Pundy award for worst take of the year is right on. I seem to remember @jvl.bsky.social (who is always right) being all over this one well before the election.

My parents, who both live in Indiana, called Senator Todd Young's office to urge him to vote against Hegseth and Gabbard. I hope the senator cares more about his constituent's views than he does the views of Pete's mommy.
