@patrick.risky.biz Loved the show last Wed. Quick update on the WSUS situation, a lot of business networks (most?) use Intune / 3P MDM for Windows updates, not WSUS. Win Update for Business, now Autopatch lets you create rings / groups etc. with the binaries coming from MS, not WSUS.

A very good Risky.biz podcast this week on Peter Williams, the former Trenchant employee accused of stealing trade secrets (👀). @patrick.risky.biz says Williams is ex-ASD (Australian NSA), which declined to comment to us when we reached out as it was a "matter for law enforcement."

Got a "on background and not for attribution no comment" reply from an Australian government media spokesperson today. That's a new one! The OFFICIAL stamp at the top of the email just makes it funnier. #yourtaxesatwork

Commander Cheeseman can eat ass. His March for Australia angels spent at least a part of the morning staring down my (tiny, brown) wife at a train station in Brisbane today. I’m not defending the rock chuckers in Melbourne but give me a break… praise for white Australia rally participants? 🤮

I traded in my Prado for an eight year old fancy Land Cruiser (Lexus LX). I’m using it as god intended, not as a mall crawler

Time off was fun, back in the office today!

I think we're gonna need another podcast feed/channel -- demand for sponsorship is far, far outstripping supply. From good companies/vendors, too. I'm thinking a features channel with a CISO focus could work nicely. Does anyone have feelings about this idea?
