I leave to go back to Japan today…it’s okay though because I’m a bit homesick. Last time I did a more touristy Europe trip I ended up drawing a mini travel zine about the experience which led to insanity like this 😂 (I went to a German castle)

As a fan of early Layton and Youkai Watch, it’s been depressing to see Level 5’s enthusiasm for gen AI. But considering the CEO’s stance and statements throughout his career, his decision was not unexpected after all. I just feel pity for the talented employees.

tbh I’m surprised that Level 5 had not faced backlash until this winter in the western world. They proudly announced that they’re using gen AI (Stable Diffusion and ChatGPT) for Inazuma Eleven and Yokai Watch two years ago.
