More windfall profit in Saskatchewan heading out of the province. Potash producer Nutrien just announced a Q3 profit of $464 Million. Besides the jobs, how much will be returned to Sask residents? Profits from our much-needed unique natural resource heads to Trump's America and our kids go hungry.

4 billion dollars to be cut for health spending in the 🇨🇦federal budget. Meanwhile, Carney proposes $81 billion for military spending. Is his goal to make us more American so we can become Trump's 51st State???? In Canada, health care should, and must, be more important than guns & bang-bangs.

Looking at the photo of Gavin Newsom helping to destroy an encampment of unhoused people in LA and remembering when he was an up-and-coming politician in SF. He hosted a collective social service event for them, and ostentatiously washed the feet of of unhoused man. He's become such a hypocrite.

If we want men to be less lonely, we should start by socializing them in boyhood to be part of a shared project of care. Give them dolls, toy kitchens, and tea sets. Ask them to help care for younger children. Expect them to clean up after themselves. Let them feel the work and value of care. 1/
When I see people complain about male loneliness, it is so painfully OBVIOUS to me that most of these lonely men are men who feel entitled to a woman who does that labor for them, who acts as their agent enmeshing them into community through unpaid pro-social labor on their behalf.

Whew! Canada and Carney survived the meeting with Trump at the White House. Not humiliated, like Zelenskyy (though close to it). So embarrassing, watching our Prime Minister biting his tongue as their President ranted on, fact-free and falsely. However, I'm still boycotting US products and travel.

I voted in the CANADIAN election. At a public school. Didn't think anything of it until I realized that would be impossible in an American school. Here we have no lockdowns, no armed guards, no frightened students. Just lots of engaged citizens doing their civic duty. Sorry, not sorry.🇨🇦👍🇨🇦

A friend just sent me a copy of a message Donold Trump posted on social media. He plans to end dual citizenship and deport all these so-called traitors to the country they came from, no exceptions. Is this the start of the end of the bromance he has with Elon Muskrat, a naturalized US citizen?

Way too many negative comments on social media. But occasionally some clever witticisms. Best one I've seen comes out of the US Signal war planning controversy. Referring to Defense Secty Pete Hegseth, who seems to have forgotten his abstinence pledge, he was renamed Pete Kegsbreath! 🍺🤡🍺

What's going on? I thought people elected Moe and company to govern the province, not to give away our energy to tariff-happy USA. Not to mention the bargain-basement potash they can only get from SK, which all USA farmers need, and foreign companies control. Grrrr.
Mark Carney may no be a life-long politician, but, watching his speech right now, he certainly has exactly what Canada needs right now. He is unafraid to say the uncomfortable truths about Trump out loud, and to outline a clear path forward for Canadians, and Canadian values. Well done PM Carney.

With only four hours to go, I'm proud to say that I have not purchased anything today. And, after watching that disgraceful Trump/Vance bullying of Zelenskyy, I'm going to try my best never to buy anything from the USA again until those bullies aregone, and their damage has been repaired.
