Uber & Lyft replaced time & distance pay with an algorithm that cuts driver wages while charging riders more. Drivers don’t get equal pay for the same trip—wage discrimination. Empower lets drivers keep 100% of fares, set their own rates, and be truly independent. Rideshare needs fixing.
I have never used DoorDash, and my entire Uber and Lyft history totals to 3 rides in ten years.
Largely because both businesses are "disruptive" by way of underpaying their "contractors" and algorithmically fucking them over.

Uber & Lyft replaced time & distance pay with an algorithm that cuts driver wages while charging riders more. Drivers don’t get equal pay for the same trip—wage discrimination. Empower lets drivers keep 100% of fares, set their own rates, and be truly independent. Rideshare needs fixing.
Imagine blaming a car for your own entitlement. Rating drivers poorly over personal bias, refusing to tip, and weaponizing fake safety claims is why rideshare is broken. If you don’t like Teslas, order a different ride—but don’t sabotage a driver’s livelihood over your tantrum.
