so apple is abandoning applescript/jxa and leaving us with no way to control things like window focus, display brightness, system volume etc from shell without first pre-creating shortcuts in a gui app? not cool apple

bonus point for the built-in side-by-side markdown preview, but it seems you can't drop pictures and videos into it, so overall not as useful for static blogging as vscode just yet

git blame will take you to the local commit but doesn't seem to be able to open it on github unfortunately

has "j k" entry in keymap config out of the box to leave insert mode, nice. I use "d f" for that though

@yeldham.fosstodon.org.ap.brid.gy did an amazing job porting the theme from gdscript to c++!

A new UI theme is a big undertaking and some follow-up work is still needed to fix all of the rough edges but I'll be doing what I can to help make the UI as polished as it can be for the 4.6 release

The new godot UI theme has been merged and is on its way to be the new default!

I consider godot to be one of the most important software projects of our time and it's a huge privilege to be able to contribute to it. Happy to see it grow and be used for increasingly ambitious games and apps ❤️
