I’ll never forget the first time I flew to Missoula to dance in 2019, I was so scared of travelling to Red Montana as a trans ballet dancer and on day one walking from the Doubletree over the Riverfront trail bridge I saw this sprayed on the bollard, I knew I’d be ok.

A musher was cut from the Iditarod for being too far behind. He went to Nome anyway.
Quince Mountain was withdrawn from the Iditarod under the race’s rule on competitiveness, but ended up driving a small team to the finish line.

At the Finisher’s Banquet, the CEO reported on a 20% increase in Insider subscriptions. I wonder how much of that was due to #uglydogs and if they’ll be back next year.
