WTF soup night in my house.
Saturday night pasta. This was our first shaped pasta and it was a perfect pocket for peas to peek out.

The flesh was sweet, although it was hard to eat around the bitter pith. I would eat a pomelo again!

New Year's Fruit Resolution, post 2. I've seen pomelos before many times but never eaten one. I really dislike grapefruit so these seemed like a fruit that I was unlikely to enjoy. I was glad to be proven wrong. I let the fruit sit for a few days to get extra ripe.
