CANCEL your Fortnite subscriptions and DELETE the game from all your computers.

Choosing—and yes, it is a CHOICE— to license Harry Potter in 2025 sends a message: "We do not care about trans people."

No amount of Miku or trans-colored cosmetic items can make up for this.

Fuck Fortnite, Fuck Epic, Fuck The Game Awards.

Posting this to their X but NOT their Bluesky just SHOWS they know they're doing some bigoted shit & just don't wanna get called out for it.

Imagine hurting your Transgender playerbase like this? And your Transgender viewers {In the case of TGA}?

Apparently ICE is about to start putting out ads on platforms?

If these ads come to Twitch, here's a (hopefully) handy tip when one comes on:
1. Click the gear icon, bottom right of the player.
2. Click "Report Playback Issue".
3. Select this option.

Hopefully this will work!

So, obviously the whole Itchio / Visa / Mastercard thing is very bad, and I see a lot of calling campaigns kicking off, so I tried to put together a list of things that can move the needle at a call center. Do with this info what you will.
So, WFM guy here, I crunch call center numbers all day and advise management on performance and staffing requirements. Here are some concrete goals to keep in mind with any sort of calling campaign: 🧵

Since 2021, Mastercard has been imposing strict regulations on platforms that use the company's financial services — and Steam appears to be their latest target.

Tell Mastercard to reverse this harmful policy at action.aclu.org/petition/mas....
Valve just updated their Steam rules to ban content that “may violate rules set by payment processors or banks.” Sounds boring. It’s not. It’s the quiet normalization of financial censorship and it’s going to hurt LGBTQ+ games and devs

You know what's happening. Remember they're going for everything. Yesterday it was steam, today it's itch. Do what you can to pressure mastercard to stop being assholes. Sign petitions, call representatives, whatever it takes.

I believe MasterCard and Visa will reexamine its approach to these policies if they know no peace on Twitter, Instagram, etc. Flood their pages

Collective Shout, the group that took credit for bullying Mastercard into recently censoring more platforms, stated that apparently it took them ~1000 phonecalls to convince them to give them what they wanted?

We got like way more people than that don't we?
ok then. one angle of attack then needs to be actively bombarding Visa and Mastercard's phone numbers and emails.

are customer support phone numbers/emails the best avenue to start with or is there a better option?
The fact that they only needed ~1000 people to call in and email to get their way is actually pretty crazy. There are more people on some of the Discord servers I'm in that could equal their weight, and some of these are just podcast fandoms.

flood visa and mastercard social medias and make sure they know no peace
Some starting points on how to organize against payment processor censorship (in the US):

* Contact your local politicians
* Contact the ACLU & other free speech orgs
* Send tips to reporters abt this issue
* Create infographs and spread the word
* Get the word out via TikTok shorts, YouTube videos
