The canadian liberals are really just cons of a different flavour at this point

the ndp are centrists with a weak-willed leftward leaning

I honestly don’t know how these outfits can even begin to help themselves; there’s simply no trusted party for even a mildly progressive voter rn

As a Canadian I get this. Our “Liberal” party now are the conservatives of 10 years ago & our “Conservative” party are simply Maple MAGA… and our only real left-of-centre party (the “New Democratic Party” or NDP) literally imploded this last election. The names means nothing anymore. 💔

Not unless Lewis/the NDP can offer some substantive _economic plans_ to support/explain his policy plans.

I'm not doubting that he's capable of it, but the NDP never seems to understand that ppl want to hear *how* the things we want are going to be paid for.

I agree that NDP need to figure what they are, and start fighting for it. Take a lesson from Mamdani, get out talk to people, and actually listen to them. Recognize that there is a whole voting block that is not represented

I can't answer this question because I actually know something about the history of men's tailoring. The people who wore and made suits came from diverse backgrounds and held diverse views. However, many were pro-immigrant and pro-labor because they were non-Anglo immigrant workers themselves.
