GenAI isn't synonymous with plagiarism because of how it's *used*, it's synonymous with plagiarism because of what it *is*, how it *works*. GenAI is plagiarism because it can do no other. It cannot work without a massive body of works to smoosh together, for too much to license it all with honesty.

I saw a fantastic way to convey how AI art feels to a human artist. Ask someone if they'd prefer AI sports games to real ones. I mean, they'd be better, right? Could have the wildest plays of all. Perfect athletes. Have a hundred incredible games a day if you wanted.

If you've survived an abuse situation, you understand the *point* is that he insults her AND that nobody speaks up. Of course nobody does. The entire presentation is the propaganda. It's about the witnesses' compliance and complicity.

Well, voting took about an hour longer than normal and instead of learning the results tonight we won’t have any idea who won until late tomorrow — but at least it cost us an extra $1.3 million!
