Found out a few months ago that a handful of movies that can never be shown because the eccentric real estate developer that produced them said so in his will and one of them appears to be Masaki Kobayashi's Shokutaku no nai ie AKA The Empty Table, staring the now deceased Tatsuya Nakadai.

In celebration of the new site, I did a little retail therapy and bought one of these guys. Frivolous, I know, but I like to think I earned it.
A Yunpen EMI Line filter, a silver box with prongs sticking out and an electrical diagram on it. Takes 120/250v up to 3 Amps. Has 3 prongs on the top for line ground and neutral, and two at the bottom for line and neutral, with earth ground typically being connected via the screw terminal on the left.

The Streamer character in Q-Up is so funny. If the number of node triggers in a single flip exceed his followers he permanently gains one. He gets progressively more powerful but in order to do that you have to maximize node triggers. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, it’s just about engagement.

When writing to a journalist friend, I just said that it's a bit unravelling, right now, to be on the receiving end of this kind of belated real-time education in elite metabolization. Instead, what you get is a piece making the various more or less bovine noises of studious grey-lady impartiality, with the labor of anything resembling "appraisal" surgically excised.

Granular robot vacuum update: I upgraded from the cheap, rubber vacuum brush that came with the Dreame L10S Ultra to a tricut brush that was introduced in later models but is backwards compatible. Xiaomi doesn’t give enough of a shit to fuck over previous models like that. Performs better on carpet.
