Just visited Hiroshima and Kyoto's Golden Pavilion, along with a bamboo grove. Japan can be absolutely, ridiculously picturesque.
The Hiroshima museum meanwhile was moving, horrifying and very sad.

The Stone basin in the middle is, apparently, a Plague Stone where people entering the town would wash their hands. This would date it to around 1350.

I can't believe they just announced Half Life 3. I literally can't believe it. In a very literal sense. Because they didn't. But just for a moment you got a little bit excited and isn't that worth something? To feel what it would be like if they actually announced Half Life 3 is releasing in a year.
