Been fighting a cold and working 12-hour days (since I'm still considered a new hire I don't get paid when the office is closed on Christmas So I'm getting the extra hours while the kiddo is with his dad) - But I'm wrapping presents tonight and feeling Christmas-y so no complaints!

My hero this week was the mom with a 3yo and a 6yo who brought the kids into our psych office. She sipped an energy drink while the 6yo saw the therapist and she sat in the waiting room with the 3yo. Mom looked tired, very tired, but she was engaged with her kids and she made it to our office. Hero.

The flowers my husband got me for Thanksgiving are still looking fabulous, so I put them in this Christmas tin thing that came in a gift basket our landlord gave us and now they are Christmas flowers!

Have spent the weekend cleaning the house (there was still a lot of dust from the construction) only to be going to PopPop's house for the entire week so my kid has someone to watch him over the school break...and I'll be deep cleaning PopPop's house for him too haha oh wellll

My new job pays less than my old job, BUT they get drug reps bringing in TONS of free food so that's pretty sweet - I've had a free lunch and leftovers for dinner every day this week!
